"Who's Who 1966" - George as a third generation lawyer was a partner in East London law firm Drake Flemmer & Orsmond in East London, the firm founded by his father. He served as Past President of East London Chamber of Commerce and served as a pilot for South African Air Force in Italy & the Middle East in the Second World War, Rank Lt.
