George Louis Olivier was born in January 1862 in Louisiana. His father was Louis Oscar Olivier de Vezin (1831-1880), and his mother was Francoise Olivier (1844-1878). </line><line /><line>Louis and Francois were half-1st cousins. Louis's father Charles Baromee Olivier de Vezin and Francois's father Pierre Francois Dubreuil Olivier de Vezin were half brothers. Their father was Hugues Charles Honore de St. Maurice Olivier de Vezin; Charles's mother was Hugues's first wife Marie Magdeleine Philippe de Marigny de Mandeville, and Louis's mother was Hugues's second wife Adelaide Dubreuil. </line><line /><line>Louis's parents Charles and Marie were both white. Francois's mom Elizabeth is unclear, but her dad Pierre had a white father and a mixed mother. Pierre's mother Adelaide Dubreuil was born enslaved, along with her two sisters. Her father Joseph Dubreuil had enslaved her mother Mariana, but on Mariana's death he manumitted the sisters and gave them his last name.</line><line /><line>In 1870 he lived with his mother's half-sister Hermine Olivier (daughter of Pierre and his first wife Marie Philippe Rayo).</line><line /><line>He married Constance Emma Leblanc in 1890, when he was 28 years old.</line><line /><line>As of 1900 George could not read or write. He worked as a grocery clerk. At some point he lived on Providence St in New Iberia.</line><line /><line>Supposedly George died in September 1981, when he was 119 years old.
