George had 7 children with Anna maria Gutsell, married 26 Feb 1838 in Staple Cross Sussex, England.

They came to Australia in 1838 on the " Lady Nugent" with most of the children plus Jonas came out as well. Ann Selmes his wife had passed away 1836.
