About George Zerbe

George2 Zarva, Zerbi, (Christian) had three sons, George, Wilhelm and John Phillip. Wilhelm, is said, "to have settled in Spain, where he married the daughter of Count De Luna, of Toledo, 'the city of swords', and where he took the family name. Marquis de Aspiroz, was a colonel of artillery in the Spanish army, 1875. His wife was the daughter of Count de Valle, Director General of Artillery. Marquis de Aspiroz claimed direct descent from Wilhelm Zerbi, of Mecklenburg."
