Gerald Klimek
INDEPENDENCE, Wis. (Special) - Gerald Klimek, 38, La Crosse, former Independence resident, died Sunday at 10:46 p.m. at a La Crosse hospital where he had been a patient three days.
A plater at Northern Engraving Co., La Crosse, Mr. Klimek had spent his boyhood here, going to La Crosse 11 years ago. He was born June 28, 1918 at Lambert, Mont.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Simon Klimek, Independence; five brothers, Clifford, George and Andrew, Milwaukee; Joseph, Strum, and Ralph, Independence, and three sisters, Rita, Independence, and Mrs. Victor (Rose) Pronschinski, and Mrs. Vernon (Doris) Arneson, Milwaukee.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Ss. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church here with burial in the church cemetery. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Lucian J. Kufel will officiate assisted by the Rev. Herbert Zoromski.
The Rosary will be said today and Tuesday at 8 p.m. at the M.A. Wiemer Funeral Home.
