Latta – Gerald Franklin Williamson, 69, died at his home Friday, February 13, 2015. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Kannaday Funeral Home Chapel in Dillon with interment in Greenlawn Cemetery. Family will be receiving friends at the home: 102 Pine Street, Latta, SC 29565.

Mr. Williamson was born in Marion, SC September 3, 1945, the son of the late Lloyd Fulton and Annie Herring Williamson. He was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle Church. He retired as a self-employed carpenter. He loved fishing and building boats. He was the widower of Margaret Ann Williamson.

He is survived by daughters, Frankie Tyler Summerford (Sheldon) of Latta, SC and Chrystal Williamson Locklear (Robert) of Rowland, NC; sister, Josephine Jackson of Rowland, NC; grandchildren, Rebecca Danyel Locklear and Robert Locklear, Jr. both of Rowland, NC, Morgan Nicole Tyler, David Tyler (Barbar), and Christopher Tyler all of Latta, SC, and Aiden Tyler of Myrtle Beach, SC; five step-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; special family, Tammy and Michael Parker and Terry Lynn and Becky Williamson; special friends, Tammy Cranfill, Ann Yarlboro, Rabbit Cook, and Hidi Moore and his K9 friend “Hoss”. He was predeceased by his son, Gerald Williamson, Jr.; brothers, Lloyd Fulton Williamson, David Williamson, Freddie Williamson, Leroy Williamson, Leroy Kirby, Arhie Kirby, Clarence Williamson, and James Williamson; and sisters, Patricia Gainey and Carol Irene Williamson.
