Gerardus Johannes Adrianus Pulles 1923 - 1944. Gesneuveld bij Narva als SS Officier.

• Kennisgeving door het Informatiebureau van het Nederlandsche Roode Kruis aan het gemeentebestuur van Vlijmen van het overlijden van Jan Pulles uit Vlijmen, gestorven door een granaatscherf bij het bruggenhoofd Narwa in Rusland tijdens een transport in maart 1944, 1950.

• He was the son of the NSB Mayor of Eindhoven. His DKiG was for actions in the spring of 1944 at Narva. He was wounded at some point in the spring, and after his recovery wasn't ready for front service right awy. So he served with Landstorm Nederland in the autumn of 1944, before rejoining De Ruyter in early 1945 (in Kurland or Pomerania I'm not sure. He was then killed in action during the fighting around Stettin and Altdam during March of that yea
