"On Saturday, 27 Oct 2007 at about 12:10, the police in Welkom found the body of Mr Gerhardus Ignatius Oosthuizen in his caravan behind the building of Hi-Q tyre, Jan Hofmeyer Road in Welkom. It is suspected that he was attacked and was hit with a blunt object because he sustained head injuries. Currently it is not known to the police about when and where Mr Oosthuizen was attacked.
