About Gerhardus Pretorius Van Der Westhuizen
Our father was a hard worker and a successful business man. He started Steelmate with two partners and eventually bought their shares to become the sole owner of Steelmate Pty (Ltd). He was good father to us and a husband to my mother (married for 54 years) and a great grandfather to Zico, Dario and Kyle. He was our rock in our family and always willing to give us advice. He will be missed dearly. Above all my father was a Christian man and we will see him one day again.
