Gershon Chertkoff

He was a rabbi. He had been married twice as his first wife died. Grandma (Elizabeth) was a child of the second Rebitzin (wife), Etta.

Elizabeth came to Canada to live with her step brother in Hamilton Ontario, but he treated her like a maid and she left and probably came to Toronto to be with her sister Rhona Zifkin.

Grandpa's (Harry Smith's) father lived in Toronto and worked as a teacher (Moira),and is buried here in Toronto with his wife.
