Mrs. Gertrude (Gertie) Hankins, aged 79, life resident died Monday at the Boone County Hospital. She was born October 9, 1883, a daughter of William and Rebecca Cecil Carlton. She was a Methodist.

Survivors include three sons, Arlis Hankins of Oklahoma City, Doyle Hankins of Lancaster, Calif., Ross Hankins of Harrison; two daughters, Mrs. Roy Cone of Harrison, Mrs. Gerald Potts of Fresno, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Parnell of Broken Arrow, Okla., Mrs. Janie Cruse of Okemah, Okla.; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Christeson Funeral Home by Rev. Truman Logan with burial in White Church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Terry Yeager, Uvalde Lindsey, Doyle Harp, Ross Parker, Earl Offenbacker, Sheridan Hogue.
