Trove: 19/12/1896 A Tram and Cart Collide. Miss Snodgrass Seriously Hurt MELBOURNE, Wednesday Afternoon. Miss Gertrude Snodgrass, Lady Clarke's sister, was seriously hurt today by a collision between a tram and cart, She was riding on the dummy, and the shaft of the cart entered the lower part of her body. She also sustained other serious injuries. She was removed to the hospital, where she lies in a critical condition.
