About Giuseppe Bianco
IS VICTIM OF FATAL ACCIDENT
Joseph Bianca Crushed Beneath Fall of Mine Rock.
While working as a timberman on the 63rd level No. 6 shaft of the Hecla branch of the C. & H. mine last night, Joseph Bianca met with injuries which resulted in his death in the C. & H. hospital early this morning.
The deceased was caught beneath a fall of rock and badly crushed, although he lived for some time after being removed to the surface and to the hospital.
Mr. Bianca was 45 years of age and resided on Hecla street, Laurium. He is survived by his wife, two sons and one daughter.
Although funeral arrangements will not be announced until later, they probably will be held under the auspices of the Italian Citizens' league and the Italian Benefit society of which Mr. Bianca was a member.
Coroner William Fisher impaneled a jury composed of Frank Haddy, John Jory, Alex Macaulay. William F. Nicholas, William Odgers and Fred Messier. After hearing the evidence of witnesses the jury returned a verdict of accidental death in accordance with the above facts.
