Gladys Virginia Kearns

Since 1988, she and her husband resided in Purcellville, VA, and formerly, Alexandria, Virginia. She was a member of the Hillsboro Untied Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, William Seymour, and sister, Jeanie Lloyd. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Ryland Benthall Kearns; her mother, Ruby T. Seymour; five children, Benny Kearns of North Carolina, Christina Beruete of Virginia, Audra Gallagher of Maryland, Billy Kearns of Maryland, and Betty McKillop of Virginia; her sister, Linda Dodd Searfoss of Virginia; brother, John Henry Seymour of Virgina; brother-in-law, Lynwood "Buzzy" Lloyd of Virginia; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; other relatives.

Interment followed funeral services conducted at the Hillsboro United Methodist Church, Friday, January 2, 2009.
