"The Abilene Reporter News", Friday, October 2, 1970, Page 8D - LORAINE – Mrs. Robert F. (Gladys) Mote, 64, of Loraine died at 1:50 p.m. Thursday in Root Memorial Hospital in Colorado City after an apparent heart attack. Funeral arrangements are pending at Kiker and Son Funeral home in Colorado City.

Mrs. Mote was born April 11, 1906, and lived most of her life in Loraine. She and Robert F. Mote were married in Colorado City June 21 1930. Mr. Mote died in April, 1968. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Loraine.

Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. S. R. Wilkinson; one son, Byron Mote; one brother, Moody Richardson; seven sisters, Mrs. F. P. Brame, Mrs. E. O. Walker, Mrs. C. A. Anderson, Mrs. A. E. Preston, Mrs. Cora Howell, Mrs. Birdie Moore and Mrs. Maud Mearse; and two granddaughters. ~~~~~~~~~~~~
