On Nov. 14, 2004, Glenn A. Blair passed away in The Wexford House.

For 69 years Mr. Blair was a loving and devoted husband of Marian D. Blair.

His parents, Everett and Mora Cook Blair of Colorado and his daughter, Barbara Feldhaus of Green Bay, Wisconsin, preceded him in death.

Mr. Blair was born March 13, 1915 in Las Animas, Colorado. After High School graduation he moved to the Cincinnati Ohio where he worked as News Editor for the Reporter newspaper from 1933 to 1943.

He served in the US Navy during World War II as Petty Officer 3c and as Q.M./ Navigator on a Torpedo Boat in the Atlantic. After discharge he worked for the Andrew Jergens Company for 32 years until his retirement in 1977.

During this period he was the Credit Manager, Customer Service Manager, Supervisor of General Product and Director of Marketing Services.

He established the General Product and the Market Research functions at Jergens. As a young man Glenn enjoyed camping, horseback riding, golfing, photography, sail boating and square dancing.

Glenn and Marian moved to Wilmington, Ohio in 1972 and were residents of Clinton County until 1991.

His activities included computer programming, church and senior citizens service. Glenn served as Secretary, Board of Directors of Clinton County Ohio Senior Citizens and Treasurer and Grand Night of Knights of Columbus, Director of Guys and Dolls Singers, head Usher and President of Parish Council at St. Columbkille Church in Wilmington, Ohio, In 1991 they moved to Pittsburgh, PA to be closer to their daughter.

Glenn had been a resident of Cumberland Crossing, Arden Courts and most recently Wexford House Nursing Center. He was a member of St. Sebastian Church.

Burial in Allegheny County Memorial Park.
