Obituary. Millersburg. Glenn D. Bowers, 72, of 1 N. School St., died Monday morning at his home. Services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, with the Rev. Clifford Beck officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, Orrville. Friends may call tonight from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. He was born in 1913 in Saltcreek Township to Cyrus and Cora Saltzman Bowers. He was married on June 6, 1968 to Edith Adams Smail. She survives. He lived in Holmes Country most of his life and was a retired Millersburg village employee. Surviving are a son, Gary Bowers of Huntington, Ind.; a daughter, Mr. Gordon (Patricia) Warren of Bloomington, Ill.; a stepson, Earl Smail of Shreve; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Johnson of Mansfield, Mrs. Charles (Grace) Mann of Wooster and Mrs. Martha Amstutz of Orrville and a brother William Bowers o Massillon. His parents, three brothers, George, Joe and Charlie; two sisters, Ollie and Mary and five infant brothers and sisters died previously.
