Goldia Belle Huddleston, 90, of Grandin died Saturday, July 26, 2003, at her residence.
Mrs. Huddleston was born August 29, 1912, in Shirley, Ark. She was a lifelong resident of Ripley and Carter counties and was a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church in Grandin. She was a homemaker.
On September 8,1934, she married W.A. Huddleston in Blytheville, Ark. He preceded her in death on October 14, 1971.
Survivors include seven daughters, Blanche Martin and husband Everett of South Roxana, Ill., Helen Ward and Wanda Bourbon, both of Grandin, Ruth Pierce, Marylin Bradley and Thelma Aldrich and husband Chuck, all of Doniphan and Juanita McGovern of Alton, Ill., four sons Carl Huddleston of Grandin, Joe Huddleston of Lafayette, Ind., Cecil and wife Becky Huddleston of Park Hills, MO, and Kenneth Huddleston of Hunter; one sister Dorothea Brooks of Grandin; 36 grandchildren; several step grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Leila Huddleston and Margrette Saulsbury; her parents, John and Rhoda (Cooke) Swafford; three sisters; two brothers; five son-in-laws; three stepdaughters; four stepsons; and one grandson, Charles Bradley.
