Goldie Geraldine Wagner

MACKSBURG - Goldie Geraldine Wagner, 91, of Macksburg, died Friday (Sept. 19, 2008) at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

She was born Feb. 4, 1917, in New Matamoras to Raymond and Amanda Thomas Westbrook. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Eddy's Ridge.

She is survived by five children, Howard Wagner (Donna) of Macksburg and Herman Wagner (Twila), of Macksburg, Mildred Chandler (Bob) of Lowell, Ralph Wagner of Macksburg and Edie Jackson (Clyde) of Marietta; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; five siblings, Alfred Westbrook (Janice) of Marietta, Janie Eddy of New Matamoras, Lucille Bartmess (Gale)of New Matamoras, Delbert Westbrook (Margaret) of Marietta, and Sara Lou Becker (Ray) of New Matamoras; sister-in-law, Jerry Westbrook of Marietta; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Wagner, on July 4, 1986; they were married in Marietta on March 5, 1935. She was also preceded by a daughter, Ruth Ella Wagner; brother, Ralph Westbrook; two grandsons, Robert Wagner and Kenney Jackson; a granddaughter, Cheryl Wagner; two daughters-in-law, Marilyn and Jan Wagner; and two sons-in-law, Walter Dale DeLancey and Franklin Seese.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Lowell Chapel of Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home with Lloyd Westbrook officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Lowell. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
