About Gordon Albert Fernald
Uncle Gordon was the sweetest, kindest man ever. He was an excellent pilot and would often take me up in his Cessna for a ride, only to have to bring me back down because I have always had the dreaded "motion sickness" which I have to this day!!! He was a delight to have for an uncle and just a wonderful man. I miss him terribly when ever I see a small plane flying above my house. He and a friend owned an airfield in Eliot, Maine.
