About Gordon Robert clapham, (Stokes)
Born 1899 in Droightwich,Bermingham to Sarah Pittaway as an illegitimate child,was cast out of the family in shame,she turned up ina village pub called the lamb inn in a place named Pwlldu near Blaenavon,she met my grand father Robert Stokes and was later married to him in St Peters church ,Blaenavon.
