A Hubbard resident for 86 years, 95-year-old Grace E. Berkey of 18548 Mineral Springs Rd., died March 17 in an Oregon City hospital.
Mrs. Berkey was the widow of John W. Berkey, and a member of Calvary Mennonite church, east of Aurora. She was born in Mancelona, Mich.
Five daughters and three sons survive Mrs. Berkey: Gladys Heyerly and Helen Reznicsek, both of Hubbard, Kathryn (Mrs. Lee) Yoder and Ruth Hostetler, both of Canby; Blanche Heyerly of Molalla, Willis and Kenneth Berkey of Hubbard, and Richard Berkey of Molalla. She also leaves 33 grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were Thursday at Zion Mennonite church with interment in the cemetery there. Cornwell mortuary, Woodburn, handled arrangements. Contributions to the Calvary Mennonite Missionary Society, Aurora, are suggested by the family.
