From The Great Migration Begins sketch for Barnabas Fawer:

The inventory of the estate of Barnabas Fawer, taken 19 December 1654, totalled ??¤596 17s. 6d., of which ??¤220 was real estate: "the house, backside and wharf," ??¤180; and "one house lying at the new meetinghouse," ??¤40 [SPR 3:23].
Difficulties with the fair division of the estate were brought to the attention of the court in May of 1656 [MBCR 3:402]. On 14 October 1656, the overseers, "having met together with John Johnson that married the executrix of the said Fawer's will, have agreed that the two houses lately in the possession of Barnabas Fawre, being somewhat better than the one whole half of that estate, shall be ... the inheritance of Eliazur Fawer, only child of the said Barnabas; the rest of the estate, consisting in goods and debts ... shall be instated on Mr. John Johnson, in right of his wife," plus ??13 of rental money to make an equal half and a wood lot that "came from Thomas Negus to the said Grace Fawer" [MBCR 3:420].
In her will, dated 21 December 1671 and proved 29 December 1671, "Grace Jonson" bequeathed her estate "equally between my two brothers Jonathan and Benjamin"; "my brother Jonathan Negus" executor [SPR 7:175].
