The News Wednesday, March 6, 1946 Deaths Mrs. Grace S. Koons Mrs. Grace Shipley Koons, Baltimore, widow of John Koons, died in University Hospital suddenly last Friday, aged sixty-three years. She was a daughter of the late John J. and Louisa C. Shipley, Frederick. Mrs. Koons was well-known in Frederick and had resided in Baltimore fifteen years. Surviving are one brother, Isaac N. Shipley, Frederick and two sisters, Mrs. Oda Scharf, Hagerstown and Mrs. Emma G. Reitz, Baltimore. A number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were haled Monday noon with interment in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
