Grace Ann "Nanny" Pratt
Grace Ann "Nanny" Pratt, 91, of Middleport, died Sunday, February 1, 1998, at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis.
She was born August 6, 1906, in Pomeroy, daughter of the late Charles and Ella Ebersbach.
She was the owner of the former Home Restaurant in Middleport and the Pomeroy Wine Store in Pomeroy. She was a member of the Middleport Church of Christ, the Middleport Amateur Garden Club, the Middleport Business and Professional Women, Drew Webster American Legion Auxiliary 39 and the Gallipolis 8/40 Salon 610.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Frank Powers of Middleport; granddaughters and husbands, Debbie and Mike Jones of Pomeroy, and Pam and Charlie Marshall of Reynoldsburg; a grandson, Robert Powers and Daisy Kiskadden; great-granddaughters, Mica Rees and husband Dave, Brittany Powers and Ashley Marshall; a great-grandson, Troy Marshall; a special friend, June Peyton; sisters-in-law, Ruth Ebersbach and Emmalene Prate; and several nieces nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edgar Pratt, who died on September 2, 1958; and by a son, James Keith Pratt.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 4, 1998 in the Riverview Cemetery, Middleport, with Al Hartson officiating.
Friends may call at the Middleport Chapel of the Fisher Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 3, 1998 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
