About Graf Patrick Andreas von Stuart
Patrick Stuart was a decendant of the Royal house of Scotland. He received a commision as an officer in the Imperial Austrian Army. He became a Generalmajor the 10th of April 1783 and was promoted to Feldmarchalleutnant 1790
He was the Colonel-Propriator of the 18th Line Infantry Regiment from 27th of December 1791 until his death.
Graf Patrick Stuart was fighting during 1799 in Italy and on the 18th of September he faught at the battle of Savigliano with his Ist and IIIrd Battalion. Total manpower of 2363 soldiers.
