Gregor na Bratach mac Gregor

Gregor Garbh, or the Stout, designated of Glenurchay, a man of martial spirit and great renown in Malcolm’s time. He also fought under King Duncan I. against the Normans and Danes, inter 1035 and 1040, and promoted the restoration of his son, Malcolm III. He married a daughter5 of the ancient house of Lochow,6 by whom he had two sons—

1. Sir John.

2. Gregorious, or Gregor, bred to the church, ‘obiit electus episcopus St Andria.’
