Gregorio Zamuco

He was dean of the UP Los Banos College of Forestry from 1958 to 1966. He was responsible for the passage of Republic Act 3523, which transferred the Makiling National Park to the UP. He earned his Forestry Ranger Certificate from UP's College of Forestry in 1921. He worked as ranger for the Bureau of Forestry until 1925. In 1927, he completed the BS Forestry degree program at the University of Washington. In 1929, he completed Yale University's master's degree program in forestry. He worked as district forester for the Bureau of Forestry. He then joined UP Los Banos College of Forestry in 1935.

In 2005, he was inducted into the Forestry Hall of Fame.
