GOSSIP FROM SYDNEY Notes for Women By VANDORIAN. Sydney , July 1. IN SHIMMER OF SATIN.

Crowds thronged the, streets adjacent to St. Andrew's Cathedral , for the wedding- of Miss Gwendoline Fuller and Mr. Frank -Wharton -As you know, the tall and stately bride, very handsome In her wedding gown of white satin embroidered in exquisite designs .with seed pearls and a - glitter of diamante passementerie, Is the only surviving daughter of our ex-Premier, . Sir George Fuller and Lady Fuller.

Glimpses of the wedding party were for the brave who tried' t.o deserve the fair. Though the main doors of the Cathedral were closed. it was evident that the bride and her party had to get in by a less public entrance at the hack. This faces a narrow lane and by the dim light of an unimportant street lamp, the patient crowd which was chiefly feminine, though none were' more eager than the men who mingled amongst the other sex, waited to see the bridal finery. As the time of her arrival drew near, ' daring outskirts of the throng quietly made for the open door, and got inside as the guests were pouring In .by the same entrance: Futile was the ruse of shutting up the main entrances, though it lessened the rush.
