About H.H. Nethralpad P. K. Manavedan Raja Anujan Thampuran Thekkekettu Puthiya Kovilakath, Nediyiruppu Mootta Eradi Thirumulpad (Nethralpad), fifth Sthanam
He reached the fifth place of dignity(Sthanam), the Nediyiruppu Mootta Eradi Thirumulpad (the Naturalpad) and was entitled to a propotion of Malikhan(Privey Purse) , a British gesture to the Zamorins for surrendering their Kingdom. He was into Timber Business at Kallayi. He also had a retail business Ramanath & Co. on S.M.Street. He bought a small piece of land on the S.M. Street to park his Tonga & horse during his working hours. Later he leased out this land to one Lakshmana Iyer to start a tea shop which was modified and is what we see as Modern Hindu Hotel.. He was on litigation with the tharawad members & he declared Papper Suit after transferring the Modern Hotel to his wifes's name.
