Funeral services for for Mrs. Clarence Knudson were held Monday afternoon, Aug. 18 in the Fairville Lutheran church with the Rev. Krueger officiating. Burial was made in St. Luke's cemetery.
Mrs. Knudson passed away Friday morning, Aug. 15, in St. Ann hospital, Algona. She suffered a stroke two years ago while residing in Santa Ana, Cal., but had been in fairly good health until Wednesday, Aug. 13. She was admitted to the hospital on Thursday.
Halla Caroline Henrietta Daluge was born Nov. 28, 1898, at Good Thunder, Minn. On Oct. 26, 1920, she was united in marriage with Clarence Ervin Knudson. They lived most of their lives in Iowa and Minnesota with the exception of about two years spent in Santa Ana, Cal. They have lived on a farm near Fenton since March.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Albert Dalluge. Surviving her are her father, Albert Dalluge of Santa Ana; her husband, Clarence; one son, Jordan, of Ringsted; three daughters, Mrs. Harvey Behrends of Ringsted, and Maxine and Yvonne, at home.
Attending the funeral from out of town were relatives and friends from Santa Ana, Cal., Fergus Falls, Minn., Battle Lake, Minn., Minneapolis, Minn., New Ulm, Minn., Good Thunder, Minn., and Mason City.
