Haman Miller (son of Johann Friedrich Muller and Anna Maria Arnd) was born 1739 in Laurens District, South Carolina or Virginia, and died 28 October 1814 in Randolph County, North Carolina. He married (1) Frances Roberts, daughter of William Roberts and Sarah Elizabeth Addison. He married (2) Frances Roberts, daughter of William Roberts and Sarah Elizabeth Addison.

More slaves deeded to his six children and two grandchildren: Ben, Frank, Sal, Ralff, Bob, Isaac, Daniel, Anne, Zilpha, Wistly, Alex, Barton, Hannah, Phil, Jude and Vine.According to the Raleigh Register: Haman was listed as a Patriot in the American Revolution- probably provided support and supplies b/c he was 37 in 1776
