Died within two years of her husband, who was a young soldier who died after contracting dysentery in camp at Perth Amboy, NJ as a Continental soldier. "(Richard) joined the First Militia of Pennsylvania at the beginning of the Revolutionary War, and marched with his Company as far as Amboy, where he was taken sick and returned home, and died Sept. 16, 1776. Hannah died Feb. 23, 1778."

• Hannah is the first cousin once removed of Isaac Potts, the man who owned the house used by General George Washington as his headquarters at Valley Forge.

It would be interesting to determine her exact domicile in her final years. Did she die in Valley Forge, Perkiomen, St David's???

~ • (of marginal interest) The Currie family owned a farm that has long been remembered as Lord Stirling's Head Quarters in Valley Forge Park, PA. The Currie family historically had ties to the Lewis Walker family which included a son Daniel who was a partner in the foundation of the forge for which Valley Forge is named.

Descendants of the Walker-Currie-Potts family continued to live on the same road as the Stirling HQ/Currie farm on into the 21st century (Frank B. Wildman III). Ironically, the passage of time erased all recollection of this connection until research recovered the knowledge of such links to the Wildman/Bean family... {MMvB ~•2015}
