Notes from external profile

Note: 1790 Heads of Family Census (Maine) shows: Dyer, Hannah (therefore a widow)residing at Cape Elizabeth with family = 4 males under 16, 4 females. This is probably Hannah Dyer, daughter of Micah and Hannah Dyer.
Hannah Davis, widow of Samuel, spent her declining years in the home of her son Isaac, in Portland. She died there Sunday morning, Aug. 18, 1844; the record of her death gives her age as ninety-nine years. Her great-grandaughter, who well remembers her, says that Hannah Davis was but eighty-nine, and family records in Cape Elizabeth confirm this statement.
