Hannah Gowell

Hannah Remick married First #1 , c1674, John Thompson by whom she had four children: John Jr., Samuel, Mary, and Hannah. John Thompson died in early 1684 -- her father, Christian Remick, was granted administration of John's estate, 17 June 1684. Hannah then m. 2nd, circa Nov 1684, widower Richard Gowell. By him, she had five more children: Richard Jr., Sarah, Lydia, William, and John.

It should be noted that Hannah was the mother of two simultaneously alive sons named John: John Thompson Jr., b. 1675, and his much younger half-brother, John Gowell, b. 1697.

Date of death has also been reported to be 1729.
