Born 7/1/1772, dau of Joseph Cartwright and Eve Miller.

Parents may have died young as Hannah and brother were bound out.

Wilkes Co.NC Will Book # 1, 10 Dec. 1778 Apprentice Bond to Hannah Cartwright, age 6 yrs.

1st day July last, dau. of Joseph Cartwright, decd., bound to James Gray till age 18 to learn to sew & spin & other housework necessary for a girl. Her brother, Joseph, was also bound out.

Married William Greer

Buried with family on farm.
