Hannah was born in 1727.

At a monthly meeting of Newark held at Kennett the 5th of the 3rd month 1749 John Moore & Hannah Hollingsworth appeared and declared their intentions of marriage with each other which is passed of first time, the young man is to produce a certificate from the meeting he belongs to of his conversation and clearness from Mother on the account of marriage, also some lines of his mothers consent or her appearance at next meeting.[1] John Moore of West Caln in ye county of Chester of Pennsylvania and Hannah Hollingsworth of Burmingham & county afforesd published their Intentions of marriage at two Several monthly meetings of people called Quakers belonging to ye county of Chester and New Castle, and in a public meeting of ye said people at Center Meeting of ye County of New Castle on the 13th day of ye fourth month 1749 they accomplished their intentions.[2] [It should be noted that part of the year is cut off in the copied document, but the certificate recorded before and after their certificate shows the year 1749.]

She passed away in 1761 and was buried at Pipe Creek Friends Cemetery Union Bridge, Carroll County, Maryland, USA.
