Hannah was born March 27, 1665 or 6, daughter of Nicholas and Mary (Gedney) Potter of Salem. Her father was a bricklayer. She married William Rotch (aka Roach) before 1692 when their first child was born. They had six children. [1][2]

After William's death in 1704/5, Hannah married Daniel darling 15 April 1717 [3] [4]
