Hannah SMITH was born c1758

Hannah was convicted of robbery (with Daniel Janel GORDON) and sentenced to 7 years transportation.

Whilst awaiting transportation Hannah had the following children

• William Edward - September 1786. (Conflicting records are Edward or William)

Hannah left England on "Charlotte", was transferred to "Friendship" and arrived in Sydney Cove on 26/1/1788 on "Lady Penrhyn". Her son accompanied her, dying in Sydney on 6/6/1788.

Hannah married Edward PUGH on 15/6/1788 at Sydney Cove and they had the following children

• David 1789
• Simon 1791
• Edward 1794
• Harriet 1796
• Charlotte 1799

Hannah died 17/10/1826 Sydney
