Last Will and Testament of Hannah Harris Smith 24 Oct. 1815 , Harford County, Maryland This is copied from The Tenmile Pioneer Families, pages 418-421

In the Name of God Amen: I, Hannah Smith of Harford County, do make and publish this , my Last Will and Testament in the manner following, that is to say, I do hereby manumit and set free my Negro boy Emanuel in fifteen years from the present date, also my Negro boy Webster, in seventeen years from the present date, also my Negro boy Hampton, in nineteen years from the present, also date, also my Negro girk Iada, in eighteen years from the present date, also my Negro boy Hampton, son of Rachel, in twenty seven years from the present date.

I give and bequeath to my daughte Mary McCrakin, my Negroes, Hampton and Winstonm sons of Rachel, to serve for and during terms specified above, but in case the said Mary McCrackin should decease before the said Winston and Hampton ceased personal estate .26, as directed by the deceased Will.

To Olive Ingram, one of the children of the deceased, her residuary part of the deceased personal estate as directed by deceased Will. .26

To Susannah Gorrell, one of the children of the deceased, her residuary part of the deceased personal estate as directed by deceased Will. .26

To Ralph Smith, one of the children of the deceased, his residuary part of the deceased personal estate as directed by deceased Will. .26

To John Smith, one of the children of the deceased, his residuary part of the deceased personal estate as directed by deceased Will. .26

The 29th day of September, 1810, then came William Stephenson who produced the within last Will and Testament of Hannah Smith, late of Harford County, deceased, and made oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God, that he wrote the within will and had it in his keeping at the request of the Testrix, and that itis the true and whole will and testament of the said deceased that came to his hands and possession, and that he doth not know of any other.
