Biography

Hannah Seabrook was the daughter of James Seabrook and Hannah Grover was born on 15 November 1706 and died in 1788.

Married 1st on 15 March 1730 Cornelis Van Horne, son of Matys Cornelissen and Fytie Brouwer.

Children by Cornelis Van Horne b. 4 May 1695, d. 12 Feb 1744:

1. Mary Van Horne b. 12 Apr 1733
2. Cornelius Van Horne b. 4 May 1737
3. Abram Van Horne b. 28 Aug 1738, d. 5 Mar 1810
4. James Van Horne b. 23 Apr 1740, d. Sep 1794
5. John Van Horne b. 3 May 1742
6. Daniel Van Horne b. 12 May 1743

Married 2nd in 1748 Benjamin Drake, son of John Drake and Rebecca Trotter.

Hannah is named in the 2 June 1763 will of her husband Benjamin Drake. She is to have "all of the goods she brought when I married her."

Will dated 2 June 1763 proved 30 Aug 1763. Benjamin Drake of Hopewell Twp., Hunterdon Co., New Jersey, "being aged." Names wife Hannah, "all the goods she brought when I married her." Also £50. Daughter Rebecca, £40. Son Zaccahriah, £40. Daughter Hannah £40. Grandson William Drake, son of William Drake, £5. To Isaac Eaton, minister of the Baptist Church of Hopewell, £2. Son Edmond, my plantation where I live. Executors: my sons Edmond and Zaccahriah Drake. Witnessed by John Lambert, Daniel Gano, John Drake.
