It is noted that his first child is stated to have been born two yearsbefore his marriage.
His farm, just south of New Jerusalem, is still owned by the Angstadt descendants.
Whether Gumbrechtshoffen was in Bas Rhin, Alsace or Der Pfalz has notbeen resolved. The two states border each other, and are in the samegeneral area as the Probst homesteads near Kandel and Minfeld.
