Mr. Bille died in Memorial Hospital in Casper following a brief illness. He was born and raised in Wisconsin, one of six children. He was married to Mary Callinan at New Richmond, Wisconsin, in 1899. Shortly after their marriage they moved to North Dakota, where they raised three sons and a daughter. Mr. Bille was a cattle buyer in the Dakota area, had a meat market and also farmed. CAME HERE IN 1931 Mr. Bille and family moved to Lander in 1931 and operated a store here until about a year and one-half ago. He store had been in continuous operation for 34 years, 26 years of that in Lander. He originally started in the Stockgrowers Bar building, buying the store from Ernest Hartman's father. Later it was moved to where the Avalon Bar now is. About 1936, it was moved to the Bille building across from the Grand Theatre. He is survived by a son Ed, in Casper, advertising manager in Wyoming for Pacific Power & Light Co.; a daughter Miss Margaret Bille, Casper teacher; and another son Lester, in Houston, Texas, an oil field operator. There are five grandchildren. Another son Ralph was killed in an auto accident near Riverton in 1950. Mr. Bille's wife died in 1947. Rev.
