Harley Beryle Dawson, 85, of Mansfield died at 10:19 p.m. Friday (Dec. 30, 2011) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
He was born June 28, 1926 in Clinton to John Noble and Lynda Alice Russell Dawson. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister and his son-in-law. He married Julia Ann Westlake on June 18, 1950 in Champaign. She survives.
He is also survived by his children, Connie (Tom) Hieronymus of Farmer City; Vicki Oglesby of Farmer City; Jeff (Mari) Dawson of Two Rivers, Wisconsin; Amy Dawson of Mansfield and Laurie (Greg) Franklin of Farmer City; six grandchildren and three great-granddaughters.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
