There was no "Harriet Forrest" in the census in 1900 or 1910, but a Harriet Miner, 68 and listed as "widowed" was working as a housekeeper in the household of James Manwaring of East Lyme in 1910. Thomas Forrest was living with his daughter's family in New London, listed as "divorced." Thomas died in 1913 listed as a widower. However, Harriet is thought to have died in 1920 in Preston, CT..at the psychiatric hospital.
