Edward Frost was an Associate Justice of the South Carolina Supreme Court. After 10 years, he resigned to devote his time to farming his wife's recently inherited Fairfield Plantation in St. Andrew's Parish. Later, he became President of the Blue Ridge Railroad, which was never finished due to the Civil War.
Once source lists her date and place of death as May 23, 1900 in Newport, Rhode Island. According to her gravestone, she died May 3, 1890. It is most likely that she died in Charleston.
