• ******************************************************************* I have discussed this testimony of the spouse of Dr. Shapira in the Discussion section: I believe that it is established by other evidence that Shlomo Zalmen is the son of Yaakov not Moshe. And that Yaakov is the son of Rav Moshe Kahana-Shapira, Hacohen and Rilke (not Chasia). It is possible that Moshe Shapira may also have been an ABD in Lida.
