Heber Allen is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A001552.

Heber Allen was the brother of Ethan Allen, a leader in the American Revolutionary War who fought for Vermont's independence from the Province of New York.

Heber Allen was born April 4, 1743 at Cornwall Connecticut, son of Joseph and Mary (Baker) Allen.[1]

He married on March 17, 1768, Sarah Owen. Sarah was born July 18, 1748, daughter of Elijah and Patience (Wright) Owen. [1]

Sarah died in the winter of 1787 at Colchester, Vermont, and was buried in the Green Mountain Cemetery, at Burlington, Vermont. [1]

Heber died April 10, 1782 at Poultney, Vermont and buried in the Old Cemetery, East Poultney, Vermont. [1]
