Hello Phillipp,
Usually when people contact other people, they introduce themselves and show how they think they are connected. I will say thank you for the documents you have sent. Will read further to see what relates to different people.
As I have no idea who you are, you seem to have some strong opinions about MY tree, including that people don't exist or have wrong names of parents. I know that some things in my Geni tree need clarification, I work with Ancestry and have not put everything on Geni, just the basics. I don't know where to start replying to you as you have so many people that seem to have things wrong with them!!!
Firstly, Emily MacKenzie, my Great Grandmother. She was base born to Hector MacKenzie - Tacksman and Mary Nicolson and he is named as her father on both her marriage and death certificate under Hector McKenzie, Taxsman/Tacksman. On her marriage certificate in 1861, Hector is shown as deceased.
Emily is named as Nk McKenzie on the Nicolson 1841 census at Aird at 10 wks old, along with her mother Mary, grandparents etc. Mary Nicolson was named as a Domestic Servant.
Hector had a lease on land at Duntulm, Aird & Isle of Troda from 1838 - 1851, after he sold his birthplace of Ardlair House at Letterewe in 1835. Hector is shown at Duntulm in the 1841 census, along with others & servants.
Hector must have had any contact with Mary or Emily after being sent to Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, South Africa, as they knew he was deceased by 1861. I know his death certificate says no children, but would a base born child be shown, especially when in a different country, or would whoever did the certificate know about Emily?
I will leave it at this for the moment till I can sort out all the queries/comments? you have. I do have certificates or historical documents for some of the people you mentioned, including Hector and all his siblings, and some things aren't sourced yet.
Susan
