Heinrich Johann Groeper, Henry J, 84 of 6814 E I Street Tacoma, died Saturday in a local nursing home.
Born in Germany he lived in Tacoma for 83 years. He was a retired logger and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Mr. Groeper is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Vivian C. Baughn, Mrs. Beatrice Ann Carrara, and Mrs. Viola M. Bombardier, all of Tacom; five sons, Henry V. Groeper, of Oakland, Ca., William M. Gemmell and Walter C. Gemmell, both of Tacoma: 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Services will be announced by Cassedy and Allen Mortuary.
He was a laborer in a lumbermill.
